Option 1 β Paste from your IEP software
Pull your session report from your IEP software program, paste it here, and select the student. The app will strip it down and build a clean, de-identified AI prompt β one progress note entry per goal, written in parent-friendly language.

Option 2 β Build from your goal setup
Select a student, assign a progress level and any data notes per goal, then generate the prompt. Best used at the end of a marking period when you have a sense of overall progress.

π Getting Started
Step 1 β Setup: Enter your name, credentials, school, and add your groups (one per class or session).
Step 2 β Students: Each student has three fields: Initials (required, e.g. "MD"), First Name (optional but recommended β used by the name detector in Quick Notes to flag accidental name use and convert it to initials), and Note (optional, e.g. "AAC user" or "front row"). First names are stored only on your device and never appear in exported data.
Step 3 β Goals: Tap each goal category that applies to the student, then type in the specific goal or target (e.g. "/r/ in words", "2-step directions").
Step 4 β Launch: Review your setup and hit Launch to open the clipboard.
π During a Session
Set the number of opportunities for each goal using the number box (default is 10).
Tap a tally box once for a correct response (+), twice for an incorrect response (β), and a third time to clear it.
The score badge updates automatically: M = Mastered (β₯80%), GP = Good Progress (60β79%), P = Progress (40β59%), E = Emerging (<40%).
Tap a colored goal badge (e.g. π£οΈ Articulation) to see the full goal text as a reminder mid-session.
Select the level of assistance (LOA) from the dropdown on each goal row.
Mark students as Absent if they weren't present β they'll be noted in the exported data.
Use the Quick Note box for any observations about a student. You can drag the bottom edge to expand it. If you accidentally type a student's first name, a warning will appear β tap Convert β Initials to replace it automatically.
Use Switch Group to move between your groups.
π Generating Notes
After your session, tap Copy Session Data for Notes.
Paste the copied text into any AI tool (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) to generate Medicaid-compliant IEP therapy notes.
Review and paste the finished notes into your IEP system (e.g. Embrace).

Your setup saves automatically to your browser. It will be there next time you open the app.
Use β¬ Backup to download your student setup as a file β do this any time you update goals.
Use β¬ Import to restore your setup on a new browser or device by pasting your backup data.

We are not responsible for how that AI tool processes, stores, or uses the information you submit. Always review AI-generated notes before pasting them into any official system. π Why Initials Only? (HIPAA)
This app is designed to support HIPAA-compliant data practices. Student names are considered Protected Health Information (PHI). By using initials only, you avoid including identifiable information in the app, in your backups, and in the data you share with AI tools.
Keep goal reminders brief. Enter short targets like "/r/ in words" or "2-step directions" rather than full IEP goal language. The shorter and more general the text, the less identifiable it is β and a quick reminder is all you need mid-session anyway. Your setup is stored only on your own device β nothing is transmitted to any server by this app.
